Phenthoate – Organophosphate

Phenthoate acts primarily through acetylcholinesterase inhibition.

Normally, acetylcholinesterase helps regulate nerve impulses in insects. When this enzyme is inhibited, acetylcholine accumulates at nerve junctions, causing continuous nerve stimulation.
