Bayer Nativo is a modern 75% WG combination fungicide containing Tebuconazole 50% and Trifloxystrobin 25%. The combination brings together systemic and mesostemic activity for broad-spectrum fungal disease management.

Tebuconazole belongs to the DMI fungicide group and interferes with fungal cell-wall sterol biosynthesis, restricting fungal growth and reproduction. Trifloxystrobin acts on fungal respiration, providing strong protective activity. Bayer describes Nativo as providing excellent curative activity from Tebuconazole and protective activity from Trifloxystrobin.

Application Guidelines

Foliar Spray

Use the crop-specific recommended dose and sufficient water for complete and uniform coverage. Common Indian recommendations include:

• Rice: 80 g/acre for sheath blight, leaf blast, neck blast and glume discoloration; 140–160 g/acre for false smut and brown leaf spot
• Grapes: 70 g/acre
• Chilli: 100 g/acre
• Wheat: 120 g/acre
• Tomato: 140 g/acre
• Mango: 75–100 g per 100 litres of water

Always follow the current product label for the exact crop, disease, dosage, water volume, and pre-harvest interval.

Fertigation

Not recommended. Nativo is primarily intended for foliar application.

Soil Application

Not recommended as a conventional soil-applied fungicide.

Storage

Handling

Wear suitable gloves, protective clothing, eye protection, and other recommended personal protective equipment while handling and spraying. Avoid inhalation of dust or spray mist. Keep the product away from children and water bodies and follow all instructions on the original manufacturer label. Bayer specifically notes that the product should not be used in or around aquaculture because of its toxicity to fish and aquatic invertebrates.
