About the Product
MIRAVIS DUO combines two complementary fungicidal modes of action.
Pydiflumetofen, the active ingredient behind Syngenta's ADEPIDYN® technology, is an SDHI fungicide that interferes with fungal respiration and energy production.
Difenoconazole is a triazole fungicide that inhibits sterol biosynthesis required for fungal cell membrane development.
Together, the two active ingredients provide broad-spectrum disease protection and help maintain healthy crop foliage and quality produce.
Syngenta describes MIRAVIS DUO as offering long-duration disease control with excellent rainfastness and broad-spectrum control across multiple crops.

Application Guidelines
Application Method
Apply MIRAVIS DUO as a foliar spray using suitable spraying equipment. Ensure thorough and uniform coverage of the crop canopy.
For groundnut, Syngenta specifically recommends foliar spraying using a knapsack sprayer fitted with a hollow-cone nozzle.
Recommended Dosage
Chilli: 200 ml/acre
Tomato: 200 ml/acre
Groundnut: 120 ml/acre
Grapes: 100 ml per 200 litres of water
Syngenta's crop-specific pages should be followed for exact spray volume and timing.
Best Application Stage
Apply according to the crop-specific disease-management schedule.
For example, Syngenta recommends 40–45 days after sowing at flowering for groundnut against tikka leaf spot. For chilli, the published schedule begins around 30–35 days after transplanting during early flowering, with subsequent applications at specified crop stages.
Mode of Action
Pydiflumetofen – FRAC Group 7
Pydiflumetofen is an SDHI fungicide that interferes with fungal mitochondrial respiration, reducing the energy available for fungal growth and development.
Difenoconazole – FRAC Group 3
Difenoconazole inhibits sterol biosynthesis in susceptible fungi, disrupting fungal cell membrane development and preventing normal fungal growth.
The combination provides complementary disease-management activity across important fungal pathogens.
