Godrej BLOXIT is a modern Water Dispersible Granule (WG) herbicide developed for efficient post-emergence weed management. Its active ingredient, Halosulfuron-methyl, belongs to the sulfonylurea group of herbicides and effectively controls troublesome sedges and broadleaf weeds by inhibiting the Acetolactate Synthase (ALS) enzyme responsible for amino acid synthesis.
After application, BLOXIT is absorbed through both leaves and roots and is rapidly translocated throughout susceptible weeds. Weed growth stops soon after application, followed by gradual yellowing and complete death. Its excellent selectivity makes it safe for recommended crops while providing long residual weed control.

About the Product
BLOXIT offers excellent control of one of the most difficult weeds, Cyperus rotundus, along with numerous broadleaf weeds. Once absorbed, Halosulfuron-methyl interrupts amino acid production required for weed growth, causing weeds to stop growing almost immediately before gradually drying out.
The herbicide provides excellent crop safety, effective residual activity, and reduces weed competition for nutrients, water, sunlight, and space, thereby improving crop growth and productivity. It is an excellent component of Integrated Weed Management (IWM) programs.
